yesterday that a coworkers daughter is dealing with IF. The coworker knew I had the lap (We both got pretty drunk at a coworkers wedding and I told her about my IF) Her daughter had one yesterday and she was asking me questions about it. I have never met the daughter but its like I feel a connection with her. Its really strange. She had an ectopic pregnancy and had to have a tube removed and has been told she will probably need IVF. Her lap was a success though, turns out her ovary on the good side had attached to her uterus and so thats now fixed.

Re: I found out
That happened to my sister - the ectopic and tube removal. They told her 30% chance of unassisted pregnancy in her lifetime and they started saving for IVF (since IUI isn't an option). They continued trying on their own (nearly 3 years in total). She got pregnant, miscarried due to trisomy 18, and immediately got pregnant again (in fact, she went to the doc because she hadn't gotten her period yet and wasn't feeling well and they thought there might be retained tissue from the d&c - imagine their surprise when they did an u/s and there was a baby with a beating heart in there).
It can happen - and it sounds like the lap has helped. I hope it works out as well for her as it did for my sister.
I know what you mean though - I feel connected to people who have miscarried or had ectopic pregnancies. Especially cervical ectopics.
