2nd Trimester

I dreamt I had twin alligator babies

Yup. I delivered the eggs, watched them hatch, and they proceeded the bite the crap out of me. I wanted to abort them after they were born ( I know it's horrible, but it was a dream), and the doctor asked me why. "But you have two beautiful babies!" he said, to which I replied: "Does anybody else NOT notice that I had two REPTILES come out of me?? I just LAID EGGS!!"

Eek.

  • This made me laugh out loud & I'm still at work!  I love it when other people have effed up dreams because that is a nightly occurrence for me!  Here's hoping for no aligator babies!
  • Hahha!  I love it.  What is it with the weird pregnancy dreams?  When I was only 8 or 10 weeks pregnant, I dreamt that I gave birth to a miniature dolphin/shark/seal creature!  In the dream, I told him/her, "You aren't what was expected, but I love you just as much!"

  • I haven't dreamt of giving birth to anything out of the ordinary, but I've just been having crazy dreams in general every night lately. I still STTN but don't get any rest because my dreams are so action-filled, I feel exhausted when I wake up!
  • I had a simular dream. I was probably only 6 weeks pregnant at the time. In my dream i was having a miscarriage and it was a hardboiled egg that was coming out of me. I cracked it open and a baby dinosaur was inside.

    Strange!!!

  • Wowza! That is a strange dream. I wish I could interpret them better, but it seems to me that you're a bit nervous about giving birth/being a mother. Not necessarily consciously, however. Hopefully you won't have any more alligator dreams.

  • I swear there was just an article on this, was it on the bump or maybe babycenter?  Animal dreams are super common, often giving birth to something cuddly (I had a kitten in one) but sometimes something non cuddly or dangerous.  Just means you have fears about pregnancy and or parenthood.  totally normal, but crazy to wake up to nontheless.  Maybe tonight you will have a nice sweet dream with a human baby?  Can always hope.
  • I feel your pain... I had a dream not to long ago that I gave birth to two kittens. I just kept feeling my belly for the babies and they werer really them.  I woke up still feeling my belly.  Although I would Def say alligators are worse that kittens lol.
