is this normal???

I was nauseated all week last week and felt sick at everything I ate. Well specific things. Now i'm pretty good with different foods and not feeling as sick as I was. Is this normal it's making a bit nervous. Sorry for all the questions.?

Re: is this normal???

  • I can't speak from experience as I was very lucky and did not suffer from m/s but, from what I have heard, it can come and go.

Don't worry about the questions.  I always said that being pregnant turned me into a CRAZY LADY.  Ask away!

  • I answered you on the TO board, but also wanted to reinforce this.

Just like TLC said, pregnancy turned me from a paranoid chick into a super-paranoid chick. I over-analyzed EVERYTHING about my pregnancy. It made me crazy. Ok, crazier.

My symptoms were never consistent. My breasts would be sore, and then the second they'd feel better, I'd panic. Same with the nausea.

Try your best to relax. It's still really early in the game for ya - I found my strongest symptoms didn't kick in until 7 weeks or so, once the hormones had hit a really high level. Your hcg (preg. hormone) level doubles every 48 hours or so, so by 7-8 weeks it's a lot higher than it is at 4.

Always feel free to ask any questions about your worries. I know it always made me feel better.

  • Ask away!  What you're describing sounds pretty normal to me.  I have to tell you I POAS twelve times in two months with my first before I relaxed.

OMG! I did the same! I have a baggie of 5 first responses in my bathroom drawer (and that was from the first 2 weeks!)

  • Yeah I was thinking I might do the same. I might ask DH to go buy a life brand test so I can be sure. Being a first time mom, I thank you ladies for helping me keep sane.?

  • I will admit that I also POAS several times after my + test, I will tell you though that it is a waste of money.  I mentioned to to my dr and he told me that even if, god forbid, anything happened, the stick could still give a + up to two weeks later because it can take up tot 2 weeks for the pregnancy hormone to leave your body.  SOOOOOO, as hard as it is, just try to relax.  AND, if it still makes you feel better, go ahead, pee on a stick!
