Today when I went to feed Avery, I noticed that she has a blood blister on the inside of her lower cheek - it protrudes out and is about the size of a small pea.
Hmm, does she have reflux? I know of a baby who had sores on her throat from reflux and her pedi prescribed a mix Mylanta and Benadryl until they healed.

none whatsoever. I think it might be a mucocele (I love google) but I'm not sure... I called the pedi and am waiting on a call back
Don't let this freak you out, but I've seen people mention Hand, Foot & Mouth disease on the 6-12 mo board, and that's one of the symptoms. It's not as bad as it sounds, and I guess not uncommon with babies. So definitely call the ped to check it out.

eew! That is bad but I don't think that Avery has that since she doesn't have a fever (since Friday probably from her shots), day care asked me if I gave her happy pills because she's been so happy today, and she's eating like a hungry horse
I'm still waiting for the pedi to call me back.
I think it might be from her sucking her pacifier funny and maybe pinching the inside of her mouth or something. it doesn't seem to bother her, she does like thrusting her tongue on it.
