Crying while being changed

My DS cries (screaming bloody murder really) while he's being changed or when we're dressing/swaddling him. ?As soon as we pick him up, he's fine again. ?He sleeps fine on his back too, so I don't think he's uncomfortable in that position. ?Anyone else's DC do this? ?Any suggestions to get it to stop or ways for me to at least calm him? ?We've tried white noise/shushing/covering him. ?TIA!

    DD did this at that age.  She just grew out of it over time.

    My son does that too. Once he's clothed again he stops shrieking. I think he just doesn't like to be naked, like a lot of young babies.

    I just talk and sing to him till I'm done, so he knows I'm there and nothing will happen to him. Beyond that, I don't know...just change him fast I guess :)

    DS does this. In fact, I just got through complaining to DH that DS did not do this with him when he changed his diaper a minute ago.

    Mine still hates diaper changes, but I think it's b/c she hates being naked (unless she's in the shower).

    my ds did this at the age.  it may be the whole stripping him half naked and changing his diaper he just doesn't like.  Now my dh loves to lay on his changing table in the buff from the waste down now. 

    Your ds is still  young right now. hopefully it gets better soon.

    I am glad to hear that it is a phase. Anytime I take of DS's clothes, he screams.
