I've started registering and am feeling very overwhelmed! ?There are so many products out there - what can you not live without? ?Are there things that you purchased that you don't use at all? ?I could really use some advice from new moms! ?TIA.

Re: 2nd tri-er with a question
I would have died without the swing. The Ultimate Crib Sheet has been a big help on more than one occasion. Because of that, you only need a couple crib sheets.
I got a Maya wrap (not on registry, just on my own) and that was stupid.
Other than that, I'm really happy with things.
Anything you don't get, consider getting on craigslist. That's where I got exersaucer and a second swing (yes, the swing was that important-- I needed one for upstairs, too, lol)
We never used our Swaddlers and I wish I wouldn't have gotten a diaper bag (I'd rather just carry a large purse).
Otherwise, our boppys were a lifesaver for the first month and a half, and now we rarely use them. On the other hand, we rarely used our swing & baby papasan until DS was about 6 weeks old, because he hated them before. Like a previous poster, I use my bottle rack on a daily basis because we wash our bottles (and my pumping stuff) by hand.
We also just used our stroller for the first time over the weekend, but that is in part because we live in WI and never take DS out of the house unless we absolutely have to.
Have yet to use the bottle warmer and I BF. Could not have made it this far without a pump and either a bouncy seat or swing. Was talked out of registering for the Diaper Genie and have yet to regret that decision. Was told to buy/register for many diff types of bottle and pacifiers, DD liked the first ones we tried now I have so many different types of both unused.
Also, DD is 3 months old and just took some of the stuff I received from my registery and did not use this weekend. Got an enormous credit at BRU and will use when we need the bigger things.
Well, DS is only 2 weeks, but here are the things that are useful to us right now: ?
Lap pads- we put these on the changing table, so when he pees or poos sans diaper, we just have to wash that instead of the whole freaking changing pad cover.
Washcloths- we use tons of these... we don't use wipes, just water and washcloths for diaper changes?so we go through a lot.
Bottle drying rack, bottles, bottle brush- we have to supplement, something I wasn't expecting, so it was good to have these already when we came home from the hospital.
Swing= sleep for us and the baby?
Sleepsack with swaddle wing things
Side snap tees?
My Breast Friend works better for me than the Boppy, but I think that's because I'm bigger around the middle and the Boppy moves around and makes BF awkward sometimes.?
DS hates a lot of things now, but I think that's because he's too young still.?
