XP- Anyone a Green Thumb?

Morning! So since I'm new to Ohio I'm not really familiar with what grows in the climate here... in SC we could have flowers all year round because it never got cold enough to kill but it was esp difficult to keep up with our hydrangeas and hibiscus because it hardly rains in the summer and is super hot. I really want to grow both of these here and peonies as well (they are all my fave flowers) Will I be able to keep them alive here? What are some great blooms for this area?

    Jen, my mom is a horticulturist. ?If you remember, ask her on Saturday, she will have lots of answers/suggestions. ?To her great dismay, I hate gardening so I'm no help!

    Hydrangeas generally do well here. We used peonies and hydrangeas in our wedding, I want to plant some peonies at some point so I'm curious what the experts advise! Wink
