c/s moms- becoming more numb?

Has anyone noticed their incision becoming more numb?  I had my c/s nearly 5 months ago.  I had one area near the middle that was numb.  The past month I've noticed that area gowing, so now my right side is also numb.  I thought the numbness is suppose to get better- not worse!  I have an appointment Friday for my yearly check-up, so obviously I"ll ask then.

    not that this is the same thing at all but i had a hernia repair and have a decent scar in that area and its numb . . . . i always thought tht since it was cut so were the nerve endings in the scar area

    Yes. Totally numb but it is still sensitive, in a weird way.

    I'm not concerned with the numbness- with all the cutting/pulling I can understand why it happens.  It just seems wierd that I've had full feeling for 4 months and just suddenly am losing the sensation.  All the nerves should be healing, so shouldn't I be gaining back sensation, not losing it?

    if I am wearing pants that are tighter or a belt that "digs in" then I notice a lot of numbness/pain.
