nbr: wish us luck tomorrow!

One of my really good friends is getting married tomorrow and I'm so excited for him.

However.

His best man was supposed to be DHs best man at our wedding, but 2 months before told us "oh, I'm not going to go to your wedding." and never spoke to us again.  Why?  Who knows.  He had been one of my best friends since 6th grade and just kinda decided he was too busy to go to our wedding.  Then, one of DHs groomsmen, who had gotten fitted for his tux and everything, just didin'ts how up to our rehearsal dinner.  We found out he wasn't going to come to our wedding. Who the f*ck does that?? Anyway, he was also a "really close friend" but we haven't spoken to or seen him since before we got married 3 years ago.  He will also be in attendance at this wedding tomorrow.

So.  I'm asking all of you to please send me good vibes and pray that I keep my composure, act like a lady, and won't get drunk and walk up to both of them and kick them in the nuts.

    I vote for kicking them in the nuts and following it up be saying something like... oh idk... maybe, "you know why!" lol what movie is THAT from???

    hmm....Thats going to be a?awkward?moment but just keep in mind that you are better than them. (they were the ones who?disappear and didn't even even say why).??

    Stay cool and don't even bring it up. If by any chance they do .... I would not even talk about it. I would just maybe say something like ...oh don't worry it happened a long time ago ( so they realized, which I am sure they know how long its been).?

    Some people are very immature.?

    Some people just don't understand how much stress that causes a bride. They're just rude, what can you do. Hope the wedding went well and you had a good time.

    I'm very proud of myself!!  I didn't cause a scene or anything!!  lol  The groomsman that didn't show up I was surprisedly not at all upset at.  In fact, I didn't even look his way all night and it wasn't even an effort.  DH's "best m an" was another story.  When he went up to make his best man speech last night I had to step out because I started tearing up.  I had been best friends with this guy since 6th grade, so it really brought back a lot of hurt and resentment.  Soooo I kinda drank a little too much.  BUT I didn't approach him or anything.  I was dancing a lot and had to sit down ( my feet were killing me... 4 1/2 in heels hurt!!) and noticed that the bets man was in my seat, talking to dh.  So, I walked over and sat down and he was just talking about his life blah blah blah and DH was just nodding.  So, in a very mature way (lol right), I patted the best man's leg, said "wow, isn't it funny how Peter pretends to give a sh!t?" and walked away.  And that was that.  Not proud, but at least I didn't make a scene or anything :)  I kept repeating "it's not worth it, it's not worth it." 

    But, I did get a bit drunk and my feet are stillnumb from those damn shoes lol
