How fast do kids feet grow??

Last time I measured 3yo dd's feet (end of September) she was a size 8. I just measured her at a size 9. Her current shoes are size 9. Realistically, how long do I have before I have to buy her size 10 shoes? Winter lasts here until the end of March/beginning of April. Do you think I will need to buy her another pair of winter boots?

It is hard to say. Nora's feet have been a size 8 for a few months now, but she's been known to literally go up a size over night!

Mine has gone through a half size every 6 weeks for the last year.

I think that you will probably be OK with the 9 boots. Kid shoes usually have some growing room built in.

DD will usually go up a size every few months. Ihad her measured in November and she was a 6, so I bought her a 6.5. I just had them measured a couple of weeks ago and is a 7, so I bought her the 7.5

Thanks everyone. Sounds like they often have growth spurts. I will cross my fingers that she won't need new boots for such a short amount of time.
