stretch mark 2nd child question

I was lucky with the first and did not get stretch marks.  Those pregnant with #2, can I expect the same luck, or am I destined to get some?  My mom only got a few on each hip and she had 4 :)

    I didn't get a ton with my first and have a few more now, but I'm carrying very different this time, which could be why. There's no guarantees either way. You'll be very lucky if you don't get any!

    I asked this last week on the parenting board, and there were a few people who got stretch marks (or much worse ones) with subsequent pregnancies. ?I've made it through two pregnancies without them, but we'll see about this time.
