  • I know, I did this too and it was a really bad freaking idea.

  • ignorance is bliss.
  • I agree.  I kind of freaked myself out after I had it the first time (at 25weeks) but rationalized that whatever risks it carried, it was better than having a micropreemie.

  • oh that stuff is awful! ive never googled it but after two shots of it, they put me on the oral version. it made me feel worse than the contractions so i stopped.

  • i was having some contrax at 36 weeks...but only after sex.  so i tell the nurse this and she takes it upon herself to give me some oral terbulatine to take.  before i did i googled and, in my professional medical opinion, said hells no.
  • im afraid to find out. i just had a shot of that on thursday...

  • Oh goodness, I've been trying not to google Terbutaline since reading this post, but it's getting hard.  =)  hehe
  • I was on terb for 7 wks with my first, and she is 100% fine.  She's 21 months, speaks in full sentences, walks, runs, and is the sweetest, smartest, funniest little girl you can imagine.  I googled terb during my pregnancy with her, too, and came up with all sorts of scary stuff, but you have to remember that you doctor has an ability to filter that information and weigh risks that you don't.  Google is not a medical degree.  I freaked myself out really badly with Kate after I did that, and I wish I hadn't.  I was so scared to take the terb, and also scared not to and have a preemie.  There are risks to both options, and in the end I trusted my doctor to choose the "less risky" path for me and am glad I did.
