Oh how quickly things change.

Last year for Valentines Day I bought fancy lingerie, went out to a fancy dinner with DH and had hot sex.  It was a good day.

This year I went to lunch with DH and Emilia.  Nothing fancy and for sure no lingerie or hot sex. And it was by far the best Valentines Day I've ever had.

    Same here. Last year I performed a stripper routine I'd been practicing for weeks (with props and everything!). This year, the sexiest thing we did was try to master the breast pump together.

    Congrats SP!  She's absolutely beautiful.  I know what you mean.  Little man was my date today since my H is out of town and it was fabulous :)  How's motherhood treating you?

    So far so good.  She's a great eater and from time to time a great sleeper.  DH has been amazing which makes things so much eaiser.  Time is going by too fast though.  I realized that I only have 4 weeks until I have to go back to work and that makes me so sad.  I'll miss her all day!

    Aww.  I know it must suck to think about going back, but try to live just one day at a time.  I'm so glad she's eating well for you (I just read your blog about your little porker), and that's wonderful that your H is so supportive!  Enjoy these days when you can.  I know that's not always possible considering the flaming nips and sleep deprivation and all, but all that will fade in time and you'll be looking back a year from now wondering how she ever fit in those tiny clothes.
