Sister got engaged tonight. Dad is not thrilled.

Sister has been dating this guy for a while and was supposed to get engaged over the summer (this is from her). Well there is some drama with this guy. His mother lives with him (she is perfectly healthy and just likes living with him). So there was fighting for a long time about his mom.

My parents think he is nice enough, but not what they thought she would marry.

The drama begins.

    I must say that I had a really good friend move in with her significant other when he bought a house...his mom moved in about a week later...their relationship did not survive. ?His mom was living with him for the same reasons.

    He owns the house. His mom moved in after her divorce to "get on her feet." That was many years ago and she doesn't want to move out.

    When my sister goes over there, she and her now-Fi will watch movies. And mom is right there on the couch with them! LOL.

    sounds like fun times. my dh's mom was living with him when we met. he left her there and moved with me. lol
