Whole milk ?

At what age did you start giving whole milk? Just curious..doctor said I could go ahead and start ds now.

    She won't be getting whole milk on a regular basis until we stop nursing after a year. I'm not sure when I plan on stopping, so who knows.

    Started gradually mixing it into his formula around 11m, (an ounce to an 8oz bottle), upping it until he is on just milk now.

    My boys' doctors have always said you can start at 12 months of age or so.

    My pedi said for us to start at 11 months also.  That is what I am planning on doing.  I'm excited.  I'm very glad that I BF DD, but I'm so ready to be done!  (I'm planning on tranisitioning over the month)

    Our pedi said we could start giving her very small amounts of milk at 10 months.  I give her a sippy with milk at one meal each day, but she doesn't care for it.
