39 weeks, getting a cold

I am 39 weeks!  Yay!!  And today was my last day at work, so it is definitely a good day!  But I am pretty sure I am getting a cold.  My throat is sore, and I have been tired all day, and I feel a little congested.  I have been so excited about going into labor, and now I am nervous that having a cold could effect my little girl's health.  Anyone know anything about this?

    I've actually seen this happen a few times on this board where people start feeling flu / cold like around the due date. So, I was reading a book my MW gave me and it mentioned that its common for women to feel exactly that way in the days leading up to going into labor.

    For me, this will be my first child so I have no experience to speak of but hopefully this is a sign that your little one is on the way sooner rather than later. :) Good Luck. Keep us posted.

    I've been feeling like this for a few weeks.  I really thought it was just allergies, but I'm beginning to wonder if it's a cold because so many people around me are sick.  Sorry, no advice.  I'm going out today to get an OTC for allergies or cold symptoms to see if I can get some releif.
