Normal?? Please say yes!

ok so I gave DS a bath and then when I was drying him off and putting clothes on him I noticed that the left temple looked whiter than the rest of the skin on his scalp and that the hair is mostly gone there! I kept looking between the left and the right side but the left is definately falling out! I know its normal for newborns to lose hair does it usually happen like that with the whitish looking skin (it kinda looked like he had just that area of his head in water for too long - which is not the case LOL) I pulled a little hair out without actually pulling and then felt really bad! Any advice or comments please?

No advice, but is he acting normal? ?If so I would say he is fine and they lose hair in no particular pattern.

I don't know about the white patch--could it be some cradle cap, maybe?--but the hair falling out happened to my DS. His fuzzy newborn hair fell out to make way for the big boy hair. I could (and did) pull out his baby hair. I collected it for his scrap book! And there would be hairs all over his sheets, too.

DS lost hair just on the sides...it looked so funny at the time. Completely normal to lose hair
