QUestion about U.S. measurements

So it seems like in almost every birth story I read when the baby is born it is smaller then the u.s./ doctor predicted.  Is this pretty much how it always is?  Just curious b/c DD is measuring small.  Thanks!

    Mine was 2oz more than they thought, but it was 24 hours later.

    I think it depends by person...when I had my daughter the u/s measurement was off...a lot. My dr said she was about 7 lbs 8oz...she was born two days later 9 lbs even.

    You are also 28 weeks....you have LOTS of time for that baby to grow!  Baby does lots of growing in the last few weeks.  U/s measurement is tricky...it's usually give or take 1/2lb. unless they tell you otherwise.  The morning before DD was born she was estimated at 7lbs 8oz....she was 7lbs. 4oz.  Remember, it's only an estimate, never 100% accurate.
