oh my this poor woman.  I hope she doesn't feel guilt for running and not looking for her husband... I'd be running my baby girl (even at age 22y) away 1st as well. And I am for sure that's what my husband (and I'm sure her husband) would want.

    I would have done the same thing, I don't think the mama bear instinct ever goes away

    WOW!  I can't even imagine.  I too would have gotten out of the house and ran - I think deep down she probably already knew her husband was dead. I guess we never know what we would do in that situation and I hope NONE of us ever find out what we would do!

    I can't even imagine or tell you what I would do. It's a sad story all around. Such an innocent life lost.
