XP: Baby Gate recs?

We need to get a baby gate for the top of our stairs. Would you recommend yours?

I LOVE ours, it's the Safety 1st Smartlight Stair Gate.

Yes, it was just recalled, but I ordered the replacement parts and received them in LESS THAN A WEEK. I am impressed with their customer service. It's a really nice sturdy gate.

We have this one. It is great- other than DH didn't measure when installing. That isn't a problem with the gate though- just my goofy DH.

After going through several gates for the top of our stairs, this is the one we went with.

I took my BBB coupon and ordered it while in the store to save money.

I was able to place the gate in studs in our walls which is what I wanted. It also allowed enough space for the cats to jump over the gate to get up and down the steps. WIth the other cats, they could jump up and over it, but not be able to get back down. HTH!
