in 1st Trimester
Funny b/c my husband and I discussed doing exactly what you did. We went to the same college and have recently reconnected w/ lots of old friends via facebook. So many people were surprised we got married...we had some ups and downs. I know many people will be surprised and happy - the majority of our friends have children and everyone asks us when are we going to start. My parents are also on facebook so I could totally see my mom updating her status! Congrats to you! I can't wait till I hit week 12!

    Hahah....yes we went to college together too!!  Our friends are flipping out!!   It's so fun to watching the little red flag notifications going up!!  It was cute...I called my mom and said you and dad can finally tell everyone. The first thing she said is "Im driving home so fast right now so I can go on Facebook!!"  I love it!!

    GL to you!!!  Although sometimes it feels like the days take forever to pass with anticipation it will be 12 weeks for you before you know it!! Big Smile

    I can't imagine what it will feel like to get to 12 weeks as 2/18 feels like it will never come - our first u/s.

    Aww very exciting!!! That's a first big milestone...and they just keep coming and coming.  I think it all feels faster after you have that u/s...just makes you feel more at ease and better able to enjoy your pregnancy more.   You'll have to come back and post some photos!!

    I can't imagine what the little bean will look like at 6 1/2 weeks. The only good thing about being considered high risk is the many u/s I get..other than that I would tried it for anything. I have a known blood clotthing d/o so I have to start blood thinners when the doc can detect a heartbeat. Anything to keep me and the baby healthy. I hope to post a pic of myself once we ar officially out to everyone. I just want to play it safe as I have heard several people reference the board...you just never know!  Stick out tongue

    Sounds like you are in good hands and they are closely monitoring you!!  Sending lots of sticky baby dust your way.  I understand with the whole picture posting thing...I actually meant to post a picture of your little bean's ultrasound picture...hehe!!  The creepy internet predators won't know the difference between your bean and mine....they will look like twins! haha.  GL again and have a great weekend!!
