Movement questions for 2+ time moms

Is movement differnet with this one for you?  With my son he moved all the time, at all times of the day.  He was always sticking extremities up into my ribs and making big movements that you could see on the outside.  With this baby things are always very calm during the day and this one has a party each night when I lay down for bed.  Also, I feel a lot of the movement down really low, instead of up in the ribs as much.  Is it different for others too?

    DD moves as much as DS, but she doesn't get up in my ribs like he did (thank god!). She has been head down ready to go for over 2 weeks now and the pressure is way more intense than with baby #1.

    EVERYTHING has been different this pregnancy, including movement.

    The movement with both of my pregnancies are completely different.  With DS - he barley ever moved.  He'd kick once in a while - but not very often and when he did kick - it was always up high.  Toward the end I was always at the hospital getting a NST because I could never feel him!  With this one - it's like there is a party in there ALL THE TIME!  And all of her kicks/punches are VERY low.  However today she seems to have calmed down a little bit - she's only rolling around very little - it was actually beginning to scare me but then i drank a mountain dew and she's rolling a bit.

    I am the same way and the baby is sitting really low, so most of the movement I feel is in my lower abdomen (my doc said this is common for 2nd babies).

    Me too and when I say everything, I am EV-RY-THING!!!!  I am hoping that it means I am harboring a little girl baby in there.  Wink

    I think everything has been different for me this time around. My daughter was way more relaxed and this baby is kicking and partying all the dang time!

    so far things are pretty similar, but this baby is still transverse.  my first was breech, so if this baby goes head down, i think the movement will feel really different.

    All in all, both PG's have been really different, with DS, he got the hicups several times a day, this one has had them twice that I can tell.  DS moved, but not as much as this one, and he pretty much stayed in one position the whole time.  This one I have a different belly every day, due to baby changing positions all the time.
