I had so many pains and cramps in the beginning. My doctor said so long as you aren't bleeding or so long as the cramps don't increasingly intensify it is just growing pains.
I had that at the beginning too. I had cramps like i was getting my period and then one morning I woke up with the worst pain in my side and thought it was another m/c, it turns out it was gas! I also had a few times when I would have pain in my side when I turned to quick in bed, I think it is from the stretching. I actually still have a few little cramps here and there, and more sharp pain from sudden movement.
I was just thinking the same thing this morning...I have had lots of sharp pains.....both sides, then more on one side......scaring me too. It does make me feel better that you are feeling the same way though.

I had a lot of weird pains at first, then it seemed to get a little better, and now they are back again. I had sharp pains down low early on and was scared of ectopic, but it's probably just your corpus luteum. I still have all kinds of weird back aches, crampiness, stretching feelings, etc. It worries me a little but I'm sure it's normal.
As long as there is no bleeding, it is very normal. That little one is just getting snug. My dr said between 4-7 weeks, you will feel pulls, twinges and even some pains due to a growing uterus so don't worry
I had tons of cramping and back pain. I thought for sure this pregnancy was going to end in m/c. There's alot going on in there right now, so I think it's normal to have lots of aches and pains!
Yes. I had such bad cramps sometime in week 5 that I was sure I was going to m/c. Turned out it was constipation. I drank some prune juice and everything went back to normal. You can also have pains from your uterus stretching. Stay calm
Edited to add: I also woke up in the middle of the night mroe than once with awful gas pains. Tip: when that happens, get on all fours and stick your butt in the air. Give it a minute or two and you'll have a good long (and loud) fart, and the pain will subside.
I'm glad I'm not the only one getting that. I get it down both sides occasionally and got it badly the other night that it woke me up. I asked my Dr. and she said it's probably just stretching. I'm starting to take comfort in it that stretching is occuring as needed. She also mentioned the cyst producing progesterone and I have definitely been feeling that too, closer to my hip.
I have had that and agree...no majoy cramping or bleeding then all is normal..I still get them from time to time and infact when I start to feel mentral ike cramps but lighter I freak, check the clock and time them to see how long they last...it has always ended up that they never get bacn and disapear before I even realize it..
just remember to take it easy the next few weeks...your body is working overtime!
I know I am late in adding to this post but I just wanted to say I too had an excruciating pain one morning when I was 6w0d. I woke up from sleep because the pain was so sharp, and I was lying in the fetal position just praying the pain would stop. I thought for sure I was bleeding. I went to the bathroom and (tmi) didn't have any success so I went back to bed. When I stood up I started to feel dizzy and lightheaded. I was so scared! I called my dr who got me in for an early u/s to rule out an ectopic. All was well...moral of my story...It's not uncommon to have crazy pains in the 1st tri! I wish I had known how bad the pains can be and maybe I wouldn't have been as scared.

I have been having those pains too - usually after I eat, so I think it might have something to do with gas?
I know what you mean about being scared by any sort of twinge or ache. I'm on constant alert these days.
