When I was pregnant last July, my OB hounded me to get these fancy, mail order prenatals, LifePak Prenatal. He's a big fan of the suppliments and pushes them big time. So, when I was finally past the 1st tri and wasn't puking daily, I caved ordered them. You can only get them with the 'Auto Renew' Option. Meaning that they send you a month's supply every 30 days and are kind enought to automatically charge your cc.
At the time, I though it would be an easy way to ensure I always had them. THEN we lost the baby at 17weeks, so I've been getting these flipping vitamins every month and can't get them to stop the order, called several times. Now, I am taking them but I slacked for a month after the D/E so I'm getting quite a backlog and they AREN'T cheap. I've been dosing DH with them to use them up. Until I am KU again, it sort of annoys me to see the cute pink box arrive each month. I'd rather just go with drugstore brand, the ingredients don't seem much different to me and the random $70 charge each month out of my account is just too steep.
Re: Vent...Mail Order Prenatals..grrrr
get that cancelled! Period. Call your credit card if the vitamin place is ignoring your cancellation requests.
Costco = $12 for 300 days worth of NatureMade PreNatals.
