3rd Trimester

Woke up feeling like I got hit by a bus...

Is this what happens when you hit full term?! I woke up this morning and I'm waddling.  My "pregnancy induced carpal tunnel" got so bad I was crying at one point this morning....I couldn't even open the coffee cannister because my fingers are so achey.  I feel like somebody has hit me with a bat all over my body...

Holy jeebus I can't take 3 more weeks of this!

  • Aww, I'm sorry.  I'm sure I'll be feeling like that soon. I hope Jonah comes early for your sake!

  • Maybe it was the same bus that hit me.  I hope you feel better.
  • Yes...Sorry you feel so bad...That was me last Saturday. I was fine Friday and then BAM...I felt totally different by the weekend. Have fun :)
  • That's one busy bus! It hit me around 35 weeks!!! I hope you feel better! (And I hope our babies come soon so we can all feel better!!)

That's exactly how I started to feel when I hit full term. It was like everything was fine and then BAM! I'm miserable

lol. Great! The only good thing is I think he dropped. I can finally breathe but I'm seeing if that is only temporary. Oh the joys of pregnancy!

  • I'm still having good days and bad days.  Yesterday was a good day, until I fell asleep on my side on the couch last night and a little dog crawled up on my hip and fell asleep on top of me and got my pelvis all out of whack.  I tried to loosen it up on the exercise ball, but it hurt all night, and still hurts this morning.  I guess I'll still try my morning walk [waddle?] in a minute; maybe it will help get things back in shape.
  • ugh, yeah that sucks. at about 35 weeks i finally got super uncomfortable and started complaining a lot to DH. But I got used to it. There are good days and bad days of course, but I think we are pretty adaptable so you might get a least a little bit used to it. Thank god you and I dont have to go to work everyday... can you imagine trying to be productive and socialble when you feel like a$$??

OH hell no! I really couldn't do it lol. I will keep that in mind when I start to complain!

  • eflo, i totally feel you on the carp tunnel...i havent been able to get any good sleep from it...which is why i am playing hookey today from work (and just took a nap) it seems like i can only sleep in short bursts, honestly, the pain/numbness in my arms and hands is unbearable...i can barely brush my teeth in the morning and sometimes at night i almost cry bc its so bad.
