Nms. It just doesn't look pretty spelled out. I'm not entirely sure how to say it either..."Im-o-gen?" Sorry if that is silly...I've never seen this name before.
I think "old lady" names like this are on the up-swing. I would spell it Imogene, though, instead of Imogen (I'm guessing you mean the name that's pronounced Emma-jean, not something like Em-oh-gin).
It does make me think of Imogene Herdman from The Best Christmas Pageant Ever...
I know I've heard this name in a movie, although I'm not sure which one...I don't dislike it, but I wouldn't use it personally. I definitely like it better as Im-o- gen that Im-o-gene
Yep, Imogen Heap is where I first heard it then looking back its in
that old teen movie "down to you" julia stiles plays character named
Imogen....shes was an artist type gal.
sounds like it could go either way on this board though!

That's where I heard it - Down to You!
That's right, I knew I had heard it some where. I think it's growing on me, I keep saying it and I think I might like it.

Yes! Down to You with Freddie Prinze Jr. and Julia Styles. I kinda like it!?!
Re: Imogen
Sorry, I don't like it. It sounds like a software company to me (too close to the word imaging).
Also sounds close to the word "imagine." NMS.

Yeah it keeps sounding like Imagine for me - sort of new agey?
Or a Rx drug?
Paisley is starting to look better...Imogen is pretty bad IMO.

I like Imogen. As PP said, it's reasonably well-used in England.?
ditto.

Normally I would never say but since you asked I do not like it at all.
I love it. And I really like Imogen Heap. If we weren't set on doing double letters in our kids' names, I would totally consider Imogen...so pretty!
I also really like Ingrid, which, I think, is kind of similar.
