Babies on the Brain

so, I just happened to notice

On the one hand, this board hasn't changed a bit, and since I am a sarcastic and occasionally snarky girl, this pleases me.

But . . . wow there aren't nearly as many posts. Is it because there are fewer people? Do we just need things to chat about? ?A few potential topics, some of which you have probably banned out of overness . . .?

  • LOL!  While that vaccines case interests me and I would love to chat about it.  It is actually just very slow on here to night.  It is usually a little more lively than this.

  • Oh wow...okay this "dead rodents in peanut butter cause of recall? " is one that has not crossed my path yet...GROSS.

It has been lagging a bit lately..not sure why though. For awhile it was all about Octomom but I think she was banned as a topic atleast for temporary respite...she resurfaced over the past two days.

  • Haha I think I am going to like you. ?I'm Sulfa. ?Please to meet you.

It has been kinda slow recently. ?A big old combination of things, I think.?

  • Um, dead rodents in PB? I think I'm going to lose my dinner.

    *shudder*

  • I am too tired to post tonight.  Just exhausted.  However if somthing was funny or interesting I may have something to say :)
Not sure what direction we are headed. Either way, I am up for the ride.
  • Daytimers, of late, have been much more lively/snarky than night timers. It's a total switch from how it was when I first started lurking here.

  • It just seems to be busier in the afternoon after lunchtime.

Wth is a "push present?"  Haven't heard this one before...

  • And here I thought the peanut butter mouse was just a new Easter candy.
  • Dooce is my one taste of Utah that I love.  And once in a while she will post something that will remind me why I don't live there anymore.  And I am surprisingly excited to know what the new baby's name is because I think it will be hard to top Leta.

    The high kid is awesome.

  • My husband can't get enough of the "cute kid high on dental drugs" video.

I could have lived without knowing just what caused the outbreak in the peanut butter. EwwwWwww

  • Things slowed down a lot when they split out the tri boards and then the subsequent other million boards.

And I am off for the evening, because my friend's book finally arrived and I need to read those parts I have not yet read!

  • Your last question brings me to ask of you all:

How bad is it that I exchanged both of my "push presents"?  (In all fairness, both kids were born right before Mother's Day so they were just extra nice Mother's Day presents.)

  • Push Present: a gift (usually from Dad) for doing all the work and "pushing baby out.....often times a nice piece of jewelry etc.

Why would you NOT be able to exchange it if its just like any other present...I've never really gotten the push present thing...but my question is:

Do flowers count as push presents. You know I don't expect a diamond necklace but a dozen roses would be nice to look at. Is that too much to ask? lol
