Spinning/Drying Rack

Is this a necessary item? We have a normal drying rack that we use when we hand wash dishes now. Wouldn't that work just fine for bottles, nipples, etc. Am I missing something here?

Re: Spinning/Drying Rack

  • We have one and use it.  We do not have a dishwasher so our regular drying rack is always full of dishes.  It is nice to have bottles separate.

  • We have both. Like pp said, it's nice to have the bottles seperate.
  • I don't see the necessity for the spinning one, no. I use the Munchkin ones that are something like 7 bucks at Target. Yes, I have two because DH doesn't wash bottles (fine with me) so when he's home with DS and I'm at work (1-3 days/wk) the dirty bottles add up and one rack isn't big enough.
  • Yeah, I like the extra drying rack because it has all the little pegs to hang the bottles on, plus the flat surface to lay nipples, caps, and pump parts on.  And it's nice to keep all of our dishes (knives, wine glasses, etc.) away from the baby stuff.
