So I take Olivia to my friend who is a SAHM with a one year old. ?Well the one year old has had a stomach virus all week. ?He isn't running a fever anymore, but did have a blow out last night. ?Should I risk taking Olivia or just keep her home and miss class? I missed class on Tuesday b/c I didn't want to risk it, and hate to miss again b/c absences count against me, but obviously Olivia comes first. ?What would you do??

That stomach virus lasts forever. If you have any options at all, I wouldn't risk exposing Olivia to it today. It would be horrible if she got it because you'd DEFINITELY miss time if she ends up getting it.

I don't know the rules of incubation for that virus but a couple of my friends' children have it and it is NASTY and seems to last forever so I would be erring on the side of caution and keeping Olivia home.

I don't have any advice, but I just wanted to say your DD is so cute. I'm so jealous of all her hair. She has more hair than my 1 year-old Smile

I'd probably keep her home unless you have another option. That bug is no fun!

Brenna had that bug. I suspect she caught it from another child at the sitter's. It lasts for a week and it is very nasty. Not to mention very contagious. My whole family has had it now. I would keep Olivia away from there until the symptoms are gone.
