NBR: Where to find a certain type of wine.

Okay, I don't do wine... in fact... I rarely do alcohol, but DH LOVES red wine. We went out to eat for his birthday and he order a glass of Cedar Creek Merlot and fell in love. I was thinking about trying to find him a bottle of this but I have no idea where to begin! Can I purchase from the restaurant?

    You probably could purchase it from the restaurant, but have you checked out your local liquor store, and you may be able to get it online as well.

    Just check local wine cellars or even grocery stores.  I think Cedar Creek is pretty common.  If you can't find it there, see if they have a website.  Don't buy it from a restaurant, their mark-up is at least 100%!

    I would try a wine shop. Some states grocery stores sell wine.

    Most restaurants do not have a vendor license. If sold there must be consumed on the property.

    Google the wine, some states can ship wine to them, others can't.

    Try a liquor store or any place that sells wine. I wouldn't go to the restaurant to buy it. They might not sell it to you if you aren't having it there and they mark up the prices a TON. GL!
