Yes, because they do not want you to dilate and not know it and risk uterine rupture.

I was wondering the same thing....good question! Would they move up the date of the C if you had progress?? Hmmm..

I am not planning on having a Csection but one of my friends had one last week and they said they wouldn't do any internals because there was no need. When I had DD I got a infection from having too many internals so they may not because that is always a risk.

At the point where I'm at they would. I think my internals have a lot to do with the fact that I've had two prior CS, and I always have a lot of BH and contractions.

I guess maybe it depends on the Dr.

My dr isn't doing them since a c-section is scheduled.
