My kid hates his toys.

He hates the activity mat, the jumparoo, and the swing.  He used to like the swing, but that only lasted about a month.  Now I have a house full of bulky crap that we don't use.  He's only interested in his bouncy seat. 

Every time I look at friends' baby registries I just laugh and think, "you're never going to use half of that ***."  I know it varies from baby to baby, but I really do think people over-register.

    but you really never know and have to try it all out. i bought my exersaucer and swing used from my moms' group. good thing, b/c he hated both of them. however, i just turned around and resold them. no biggie. it's all trial and error with these kids!

    Yeah, I sent an email out to my "mom" friends asking what they actually used and not (so I could really register for what was used).  I got such a wide variety of answers - that I had to end up registering for it all.  One baby LOVED the Bjorn, another one couldn't stand it.  One baby was in his swing all day, the other would cry in it.  I guess you don't really know until they get here, so until then, I registered for everything, too. 

    Is there anyway you can sell your additional items on Craiglist?  Or go ahead and put them in storage for any future kids (if you are planning on  having more)?
