Would you buy a used exersaucer?

There are some nice used exersaucers on Ebay for about $30.  I know they retail for around $100 in stores.  I just can't justify dropping that much money on something that she may or may not like.  We've spent a pretty penny on stuff that she just doesn't like or use.  I also need to get her a high chair and a real stroller (we only have the frame stroller) and eventually a new carseat, so I'm trying to cut corners where I can. 

Would you buy a used exersaucer?  I know that they recommend not to buy a used carseat for various reasons, but I don't imagine the same reasons apply to this.

    I bought a used jumperoo off Craigslist for $40 and it's worked great and was in awesome condition.  I wouldn't hesitate to buy a used exersaucer, assuming of course it was in good shape...

    I would as long as it is in good shape and you can clean it really easily.

    Yes.  They have boat loads at the church sales near us for less than $20.  Same with bouncers, swings, ect

    It's funny, for at home I would rather have all new stuff as I plan to use it for our next children, but for my IL's house I wouldn't hesitate to get a used one that was in great condition probably because DS is only over there once a week and he is home everyday. I'm all for getting deals.

    I would definitely purchase used!

    I didn't see anyone else post this, but I wanted to offer a tip on how to clean items in case you are worried about the exersaucer being dirty - 

    Clean with 1 part bleach and 1 part water. This way, the toy is disinfected.

    For sure. ?The first one we had was a hand me down. ?ILs bought him a decked out Baby Einstein one for Xmas, or we'd still be using the used one.

    We bought his swing used, and I'll probably sell it on CL now that he's not using it anymore. ?I'm all about recycling the baby goods.?

    We did, from craigslist- perfect condition for only $15 and it's a hit! We have two boys, and this one was pink, but I bought it anyway... and get this!!!! I got preggers soon after with a GIRL due in June. ?:)?
