  • I wonder how much he was paid by government entities to come out with this "new mess up information."
  • I never believed it anyway.
  • Awesome article- thank you for posting this!

I talked with our potential pedi about his take on this vaccination and he said that he currently treats 17 children with autism in this part of the state. All but 2 of these kids he had been treating since birth. And with the original 15 babies he'd been seeing since birth, he had reported and documented signs of autism before the MMR vac had been given. It's just that a diagnosis can't be given too early b/c many babies will have a development growth spurt and overcome those particular symptoms.

I've heard/read that this is common in pedi's. Just goes to show that you can never be too sure about the "research" that blows up in the media and on the internet (or from celebrities). Cause and effect research is the most difficult to prove.

  • I'm glad people are starting to realize that just because a celeb says something it does not make it right. The rate of autism has gone up even since they have taken the mercury out of vaccines.  My sister is 4th year med student and one of her md's patients (1 year old) died of H.Flu - his organs became liquified. I am all about vaccinating.

  • I agree with PPs.  I have always planned on vaccinating my kids.  I fugured the benefits behind it far outweighed the possible risks.
