Kady update :-(

I took her to the doc this morning and he said it was probably a viral infection (bronchiolitis) but he wanted a chest x-ray and blood work done since she had some chest congestion and wheezing going on.

Just got the call that her chest x-ray was normal but her white blood count was extremely high. Got me pretty worried when they said I have to take her back NOW for more bloodwork. So we're headed back to Children's Outpatient...poor girl :-(

Oh Alison, that sounds alarming! I hope it turns out fine. Thank goodness the chest x-ray was normal. Make sure you check back in and let us know how things are going.

Oh no! So sorry to hear that Kady needs more blood work done! That is so horrible to have to endure more than once in such a short time period.. (both you and Kady!) I hope you get some good results, and that your cutie pie feels better soon!
