oh barf (tv show wifeswap)

I have no idea why I am even watching this garbage.... but this woman is sitting here talking about how women are the weaker vessel and it's their main duty to cheerfully serve their husbands.  And she's making sure her daughters understand that... that it's their duty to serve their husbands by cleaning and doing laundry and stuff.

I'm sorry... there is nothing wrong with being a conservative Christian.. and there is certainly nothing wrong with being a SAHM (obviously, I am one). 

But COME ON!!! How on earth can your greatest ambition for you daughters be for them to just cook and clean for their husbands!!! How can you raise them to think that's the most important job they can do??? She's not even really talking about being mom, etc - it's all about "cheerfully cooking and cleaning"  

I just don't understand how you could want to teach your children anything other than they can be anything they want...

ETA: OMG!!! One of the little girls just said (and I quote) they are supposed to do their chores/cleaning with "A Cheerful SERVANT's Heart"!!!!! Who on earth refers to their kids as servants!?!?!?  And they call one of the daughters "rebelllious" because she wants to go to college.
