Just got back from my first internal!

So the good news is I'm 1 cm dilated WOOHOO!

The bad news is it hurt like freakin hell! Holy crap! I was gripping the sides of the exam table for dear life! Not to mention my Dr. told me she was swabbing for GBS and just unsuspectingly stuck her finger up for the exam without warning me! Thanks Doc!

Anywho I know it could mean nothing but I'm super thrilled

When do you go back? I wasn't expecting anything at all! My Dr. told me she had a girl come in the other day saying the same as me and she was 5 cm!

Yipe! I tried making an appt today, but I have to go to the clinic in person since we transferred. Ugha.

And every one doesn't need to worry about internals hurting. Mine never have.

Sorry ladies mine was uncomfortable and I'm really crampy now. I know it doesn't bother some ladies but it did me. Just lots of pressure. I'm scared because if that hurt I can't even imagine what labor feels like lol. Just being honest!

I do have a low pain tolerance though so don't know if that has anything to do with it!

Yay!! How exciting. I don't know when mine will be- now I'm a little nervous too. I never guessed it would hurt- just thought it would be strange. Isn't it crazy the finish line is almost here!

If it hurts it's because your baby is super low, so that's good! I had one on a Monday with DS and was at 1 cm, don't remember effacement, and it didn't hurt at all. I ended up having him two days later. So...you never know!
