  I dont think outlet malls are actually good deals overall, but I have had success finding clothes super cheap when there is an addtl sale.  I found some really cute things at gymboree a few wks ago at that location (cupcake cardigan for $6.99, pea coat for $24.99 reg 69.99) but you have to search the sale rack. I sometimes have to drive right by Katy Mills and the one on 290 for work, so I'll pop in and out during lunch but not sure I'd make a trip up there for it.

  i had 2 really bad experiences with boy clothes at the gymboree outlet (katy mills). one example: i bought truitt a romper with tractors embroidered on it. well, the reason it was at the outlet was b/c the embroidery was not soft on the inside. in fact, it was so scratchy that it ;eft little red welts all over his torso and he only wore it for a couple hours. you find just as good of deals by hitting the big sales at the stores and you know it's the 'real' quality vs seconds or cheaper stuff they make just for the outlet.
