Right now...low key places like the beach. We did a week on Cape Cod last summer which was fun and are heading to Florida in two weeks.
In a few years...everywhere. DH and I are big travelers. I can't WAIT to take him to the places DH and I love - Denmark, Norway, France, Italy....I also can't wait to go places like Washington DC and NYC with him. DH and I are waiting to go certain placs until DS can come and enjoy them - China and Peru are two big ones that we really want to go but will wait until DS is older and can come with us.
Right now, easy stuff and places we have family. Or just me and DH vacations. We took her to NYC, Hawaii, Seattle, San Francisco and Hawaii from 9 months - 18 months. Now, she's a handful and we won't go on a full-on vacation w/ her. We're visiting family next week-she'll stay w/ our niece while DH and I ski w/ the rest of the family during the day.
When she's about 5, we'll take her everywhere. Like DevonPow, we are huge travellers. I get a serious twitch if I don't go somewhere at least 1x a year. I'm not a cruise or Disney vaca person, so a lot of that stuff is out. We debated taking her to Switzerland w/ us, but decided against it for many reasons.

Right now I love the beach - Last year we did Outerbanks, this year we are doing Hilton Head. I grew up going to the beach every year so I am a bit of a beach bum though.
When they are older I can't wait to do Yellowstone, Alaska, Grand Canyon (actually hiking/rafting in the canyon not just looking at it), more beach vacations just to farther away places as they can handle the trip by then. I'm not wishing away their younger years as I really love these stages but I am really looking forward to family vacations as they get older and are able to get more excited about stuff and being able to do more with them.
I would like to take him to Disneyland when he's 3 (Disneyworld would be better but too expensive since we're already in CA & 5 hrs. from D-land). I don't ever plan on taking him out of the country. The ultimate goal is to plan a trip to Delaware to see family, with a side trip to NY and Boston.
