I love my job!! Maternity leave increase

in 2nd Trimester
Originally, my maternity leave was going to be 12 weeks. But, the firm just changed the policy so now I get weeks at 100% of my salary! I'm over the moon.

    Oh lucky!  I have to use up all of my paid time off in order to try to get full pay after the disability (66%) runs out.  So.....I'll be working from home to try to make up the hours!  congrats!

    Yeah, I would have got a full 12 weeks paid if my stupid job didn't move to PA! I get 6 weeks, 8 for a c-section, paid 100% by my job.  Then I can take another 6 weeks through disability but that is paid at like 60%. NJ is passing a law this where they will make up the other 40% so that you are getting 100% of you pay. But now since my office is in PA I won't be eligable. Lucky me.

    Mine too! Congrats! As of Jan 1, 2009, ours changed too! Went from 8 weeks at 60% pay to 12 weeks at 100% pay! :) That will make life easier!

    Originally I would get 12 weeks at 100% salary. Now I'm going to have 16 weeks at 100% salary.

    Congrats on your increase! I would love to get paid any percentage of what I make while I'm off for ML. I get the time off but it's all unpaid, so I'm saving now to make up for what I'll need to pay bills during that time.
