  • I flew from DC to AZ at 27 weeks.  I was exhausted but otherwise fine.

  • I flew at 31 weeks. It wasn't bad. I had a little extra swelling. This airline won't let you fly after 35 weeks, so make sure you check with the airlines policy before you get turned away at the gate.

  • I'm flying to Florida this weekend and again in March.. I'm just going to wear comfy clothes and hope for an aisle seat
  • unless there is a risk you will go early you will be just fine
  • i flew to the US from germany for the holidays. i guess i was around 28 weeks? i returned 2 weeks later. it wasn't so bad- i wore compression stockings, drank tons of water and got up to pee a few times. if you've had an easy pregnancy, a 3 hr flight shouldn't be too bad. just check with your doc 1st.
  • Yes, I think I was around 30 weeks, maybe 31.

Not true actually - each airline has a different policy, you have to check (USAir says its ok to fly until 39 weeks if I recall correctly).  I flew at 37 weeks and was fine (1-2 hour flight).

  • I've flown a bunch this trimester for work.  The last trip was at 35wks and a couple of days.  That's the last one I am making, but I was fine!

That's why I said check with the airline. The one I flew with wouldn't let you fly past 35 weeks, but yes every airline is different.
