Eli has these rough spots on his skin. They are tiny little raised bumps. They don't really have color to them, but you can feel them all over his body. He doesn't have a fever, but has been battling a wicked yeast diaper rash for about a month (it clears up and then start over as soon as we stop the medicine), which could be totally unrelated. They don't seem to bother him, but when he isn't wearing clothes he will scratch a little, but not too much. They have been pretty minor for a few days, but now seem to be spreading (even onto his face). He does have allergies, but we don't know what to (other than amoxicillian, which he hasn't taken). I hate to take him to the doctor and them tell me for probably the 100th time that it is allergies and he has to be 2 before they will do anything. Does that sound like allergies or something else?

Re: Tiny little raised bumps?
How long has he had the bumps? Are they new, or is it something that's just started in the last few days?
Justin has tiny little raised bumps on his cheeks and his upper arms, but he's had them for a long time. The doctor told me that it's a skin condition called Keratosis Pilaris. It's not an allergic reaction, and it's not eczema. Apparently it is something he will outgrow.
If this is a new thing for Eli and it's bothering him, I'd take him to the pedi to at least find out what it is. Maybe they can suggest something topical you can use on him to give him some relief.
