Mom Groups

Anyone belong to a Mom Group?  I'm a SAHM and I've been feeling lonely lately.  None of my friends have kids and the neighborhood I live in is older and most of my neighbors are senior citizens.  I want to have my child socialize with other children and I would love to socialize with some adults.  I tried checking online for groups but really didn't find anything but a couple of dead sites.  Any suggestions?  Thank you!

    I'm curious about this also. ?My work schedule just shifted to a few evenings per week, leaving most of my mornings open. ?I'd also love to meet some local moms & kiddos.

    I was going to check out the local library's story hour, which might be geared toward a little older age-group than your 6mo. ?When the weather warms up, I'd be up to GTG at area parks. ?

    Because this is my first winter here, I'm at a loss for indoor activities (away from home) for my toddlers. ?We got a membership to the Adventure Aquarium, but that's it.?

    I think Meetup.com has some Mom & Me groups.

    I'm not going to be a stay at home mom, but I'd still be interested in get-togethers. I am hoping to be a teacher - so I'll be home in the summers, too.
