GNO/GDO 40th Bday Ideas?

We're celebrating my gf's 40th in 2 months.

Need some ideas on how to celebrate. We're thinking spa for a Girls Day Out but we've done it before. We'd like to do something local and just have a fun day spending it with all the girls (about 6).

can anyone suggest something fun/different?

it seems like most of my friends are doing wine tasting parties for their 40th.

Wine tasting is always more traditional for that milestone...but what does she LIKE to do?? Something similar local...you can go the Amadeus Spa in Napa, then head up to the valley for tasting and dinner! Or what about a hot air balloon ride?
