  there was immediate relief after delivery, and a couple weeks for the numbness to completely go away (but the pain was gone).

  The stiffness and swelling in my fingers went away a few days after delivery. ?My wrist pain actually worsened after delivery. ?I was fine for about 3 days, but it came back with a vengeance and I have to see an orthopedist. ??

  I'm sorry to tell you this but mine got way worse after my DS was born... and lasted 8 weeks.
  

  Married on 3.20.2004. It took 30 month, 2 failed adoptions and IVF for our first miracle. We have had 9 foster kids since he was born and started the domestic adoption process when he was 10 month old, we had 4 failed matches in that time. After our daughter was born we brought her home and spent 2 weeks fearing we might lose her because of complications that came up. But Praise God all went through and she is ours forever! Expecting again after IVF

  I actually had complete numbness and some pain 2 months after DS was born! It sucked and it did go away...eventually.

  About 6 weeks. Had it for PG#2.

  mine were less achy pretty much immediatly after delivering, but they were still tingly and numb for almost 8 wks.
