3 hr Glucose test

in 3rd Trimester

So - I had my 3 hr last Friday and haven't heard back from the office.

The told me that it usually takes one day to get the results. I figured that they are closed over the weekend so I wasn't surprised not to hear from them. But I still haven't. Part of me feels that no news is good news. But another part of me is annoyed that they haven't called.

Isn't it their responsibility to call me?!?!? I guess I should call them... 

I can't stand my Dr office.

    I called mine for both results, I couldn't stand waiting! I would call. You figure if it came back as a fail, they would want to see you right away, so it looks promising! I passed my 3 hour.

    No news generally is good news. I had to take the 3 hour with DD, and waited two days before I called to find out I had passed. With this pregnancy, I took the 1 hour (was sure that I wasn't going to pass), waited 3 days and called and found out I had passed. I'd call and find out. Peace of mind.

    I know my doc's policy is to call for bad results and wait until the next appointment for good results.  You should just call.

    My dr's office doesn't call about any tests unless they come back bad.  If they are ok they just talk to you at the next appt.

    I always call for results, I never wait for them.  FWIW, I passed my 3 hour with no problem and most people do.  Good luck.

    I actually just got off the phone with my Dr. office. They didn't call me because I passed.

    My dr told me they would only call if there was a problem. ?But if you really want to know then I would call them.
