So I went for my 11am appt this morning and my BP was 123/92 and had slight protein in my urine - yay for mild pre-e on my friggin due date!
So - I have to check in at 3pm to start pitocin *ugh* and after contrax are regular - they said they will break my water.
She said that I am "favorable" for induction because I am 2cm & 80%. Let's hope this is a successful induction and I don't end up with an emergency CS.
Wish me luck ladies - I'm scared, anxious, and excited all at the same time!

WOW!
GOOD LUCK. who's your LB?
Good luck! Even if it does turn into a c-section, try to put your faith in the doctors. That helped me to calm down with my emergency c/s. They took really good care of me and baby.
I will be thinking of you. Who is your labor buddy?
Good Luck!
Can't wait to see pics of your LO
Thanks! I will definitely text you - I am hoping for a fast labor (LMAO!). Dr. said by 7am tomorrow I should be holding my son! It's surreal now - and I'm sure just going to get more surreal!
Good luck! I hope your induction goes better than mine did.
I'm sure you don't want to hear this, but I had about as much progress as you and was induced at 39 weeks and 4 days because they though my fluid was low. I was doing good til 6cm and about 100% effaced when my progress stalled. She just wasn't ready, IMO, as she was still -1 and never engaged. She was starting to show distress at that point, too (probably from the 15 hours of pitocin) and I wound up with a C-section.
That said, the recovery from the C-section wasn't as bad as I expected. I just was bummed because I really wanted a vaginal delivery. That's weird isn't it? I really wanted a shredded vag and a fuckton of pain!
