There is a room next to the master that does not have a true closet, just built-ins and the other bedrooms are upstairs. What room would you use for your kiddo?
Both of my kiddos are upstairs. Kamryn was in her bedroom from day 1. I didn't mind going up the stairs in the middle of the night. It gave me a chance to "wake up" before I went in to feed her. I didn't want the kids right next to us. I didn't want to have to "tip toe" around to avoid waking them up.
I wish we had another bedroom downstairs, because I hated going upstairs multiple times a night. ?I personally would put a new baby downstairs and move them upstairs as they get older.
I would use the downstair one if they're still young (under 4) and the only child. I wouldn't mind using the upstairs if my mom lived with us and is up there, or if I had another kid and so they have each other upstairs.
Then again, Emmy sleeps in our room because I can't let her go..hahaha

My master is downstairs and all other rooms are up. My old house had master up and I liked it so much better.
