  Shooting pains in your crotch. Most likely pressure from the baby being on your cervix.

  Haha, I would say it's one of those terms that just describe itself.  Shooting crotch pain (sometimes for me it's more internal) that is short but super painful.  I imagine it feels exactly like getting hit by lightning in the vag or getting stabbed by angry crotch fairies.
