Just read your blog, and wowza, you had a nasty pregnancy! You're a total trooper!
Your sweet baby boy is just adorable, and even with all the tubes and monitors around him, he looks perfect. You guys are in my prayers- I hope he gets out of the NICU soon and you get to take him home and love him. He's an unusually handsome little dude!

He actually doesn't need help breathing--they're giving him room air but through the tube to help with flow of air. He hasnt tried a bottle or breast yet, but takes the paci like a champ, so hoping that means he won't have a problem in the next few days when they try. He's on IV nutrition right now.
He is stable and they say he is getting better by the hour. I just want him to come home! I go home tomorrow and I know it'll break my heart having to leave him here.
it's great that he is in room air! tomorrow will be the hardest day ever, i won't lie to you, and the beginning really really sucks but he WILL grow and get stronger and come home, and once he does the hospital time seems like a bad dream. jack's been home for 3 weeks now, after 2.5 months in the hospital and that hospital time really seems like a bad dream. it will be okay, but it does suck and i am so sorry you have to go through this.
she is absolutely beautiful. It sounds like he is doing really great. Hopefully they let you try feeding him soon. It is definitely gonna be hard for you to leave him but you'll enjoy every moment you have with him when u visit. And because he is steps ahead of some babies at 33 weeks, he'll hopefully get home sooner. You are truly blessed to have him.
